Cuando el directivo de una empresa está por recibir la visita de un ejecutivo de otra compañía, por lo general radicada en el extranjero, suele preparar –en conjunto con su asistente– un programa especial de actividades que suele incluir algunas visitas turísticas locales (sightseeing programme).

Aquí tienes un modelo de programa de 4 días para un directivo norteamericano que visita una planta industrial en Buenos Aires, Argentina:

Wednesday, 1st August

11.00 a.m.: Arrive Buenos Aires International Airport. Car will meet and drive Mr. Gordon to Argentino Hotel. Lunch at Puerto Madero with Sales Manager, Mr. Jorge Montes.

Afternoon: Buenos Aires sightseeing: visit Plaza de Mayo, Florida Street, San Telmo and Caminito.

Evening: Car will be at hotel at 9.00 p.m. to drive Mr. Gordon to a tango show at Argentino Show Bar.

Thursday, 2nd August

Morning: Visit Patagonia S.A. factory. Car will arrive at hotel to drive Mr. Gordon to the industrial plant at 9.30 a.m. Lunch at factory with Managing Director, Mr. Francisco Lamas.

Afternoon: At leisure. Information, car and shopping advice if required.

Evening: Theatre visit. Car will be at hotel at 8.15 p.m. to drive Mr. Gordon to Colon Opera House.

Friday, 3rd August

8.00 a.m.: Car will be outside hotel to drive Mr. Gordon to Palermo woods. Return via Del Pilar Promenade and Recoleta for lunch with Marketing Manager, Ms Marisa Suarez.

Saturday, 4th August

10.00 a.m.: Depart from hotel for Buenos Aires International Airport. Take-off time: 12.10 p.m.
