¿Dónde está el control remoto?

  

Mr. Brown sale por negocios y llamó a una niñera por hora para  cuidar a su beba hasta su regreso.

Mr. Brown:

Thanks for watching the baby tonight. Everything is ready.

Gracias por cuidar la beba esta noche. Todo está preparado.

Katherine:

Thank you, Mr. Brown. By the way, where is the television?

Gracias, Sr. Brown. A propósito, ¿dónde está el televisor?

Mr Brown:

It's in this cabinet.

Está en este mueble.

Katherine:

And where is the remote control?

¿Y dónde está el control remoto?

Mr. Brown:

I don't know ... Oh, it's on the sofa, under the cushion.

No sé ... Ah, está sobre el sofá, debajo del almohadón.

Katherine:

Great. Oh, just one more question. Where is the baby?

Fantástico. Hmm, una sola pregunta más. ¿Dónde está la beba?

Mr. Brown:

She's in bed! Her bedroom is right there.

¡Está en la cama! 
Su dormitorio está allí.

1. Thanks (informal) = Thank you (formal) (Gracias). 
2. By the way (A propósito; Entre paréntesis; De paso). Se utiliza para aprovechar una situación e intercalar un comentario adicional.
3. I don't know... (No sé; No lo sé...). Recuerda que en inglés no existe el sujeto tácito o implícito como en Español; es decir, SIEMPRE debes mencionar el pronombre personal correspondiente.
4. Great !! (¡Fantástico!; ¡Perfecto!). Expresión de gran entusiasmo o aprobación muy informal.
5. Right there (Allí; Justamente en ese lugar). Expresión enfática para indicar la exacta ubicación de algo o alguien.
