Medicine: glossary and expressions

 

Doctors who specialize in particular fields are called specialists. Let's practise a short list of them. Read carefully and study this vocabulary and expressions.

MRI scan means Magnetic Resonance Imaging. It is the use of nuclear magnetic resonance of protons to produce proton density images.

–  You'll have to have your leg put in a cast.
–  Get plenty of bed rest.
