LAS ESTACIONES DEL AÑO: ALGO PARA RECORDAR ...

1. Para referirse al otoño, los americanos usan el sustantivo FALL (fól), mientras que los ingleses usan AUTUMN (ótom).

2. En inglés británico, los nombres de las estaciones del año suelen escribirse con mayúscula y sin el artículo definido the. Ej.: la primavera,  the  Spring. En cambio, en inglés americano, más informal, se escriben generalmente con minúsculas aceptándose el artículo the: Ej.: en verano, in the summer.

It's fifty degrees.

It's warm and sunny.
It's eighty.

It's very hot and humid.
