TIPS: In this video, Mr. Jenkins says I'm used to working under pressure. There is a strong temptation to say I'm used to work under pressure. The problem is the to in the phrase am used to. It looks as though it is the infinitive, but it isn't. "To" in this phrase is a preposition. We can say sentences such as I am used to Spanish food or I'm not used to the climate. But, if we put a verb after the phrase "I am used to", the verb must go into the gerund.
