Why don't you consider working on the oil-rigs?

TERRY:

I can't imagine myself working in the middle of the North Sea!

PAULO:

It's a month on and a week off. The money's good, and you spend nothing while working.

TERRY:

It isn't so very long ago that I was demonstrating against the pollution of the environment by the oil companies!

PAULO:

True, but if you work with them, you'll find out whether what you used to believe is true!

TERRY:

That's what I would call rationalization! Still, it's better than being out of work all together.

PAULO:

That's being more realistic.
