EXERCISE A

Put the verbs in brackets into the correct form: GERUND or INFINITIVE.

 

1.  He tried (explain) but she refused (listen).

2.  Our kids like (play) games but hate (do) lessons.

3.  The thief wore dark glasses (avoid) (be) recognized.

 

4.  If you continue (let) your dog (chase) cars he will end by (be) run over.
