Dear
Maggie,
I arrived in London last night and your friend Peter met me 1
. I was glad to see him, because he helped me to find my
hotel, which was not so near. We went there 2
and
3
thirty minutes to get there, as the traffic
moved slowly. London is such a big city! It's easy 4
here, as I come from a small town, and I am not used to
5
a lot of cars and buses.
I think I am going to have a great time here. Last night Peter and I
went for a "short" walk. I had never imagined 6
London is. We walked for more than two hours and I had to
take the underground 7
to the hotel.
I am going to write again soon and I'm sure my letter is going to be
much longer, as I have decided
8
all the interesting
places, and there are so many! There are some streets where you feel
surrounded 9
and some where it's all very modern. This new
experience makes me feel excited, and I am going to enjoy 10
all of London.
Love. Patrick.
