ACTIVITY 139: Join the following sentences using WHICH as connecter. Decide in each case whether it refers to the whole of the previous sentence or clause or only to the last word or noun group before it. Then check the correct answers.

DR GILBERT: Good morning. Come in and at home. You're Elizabeth York, aren't you?

ELIZABETH: That's right.

DR GILBERT: Well, this is just a preliminary interview that every prospective student has to go through.
