Don't know why
There's no sun up in the sky
Stormy weather
Since my gal and I ain't together
Keeps raining all the time

Life is bare
Gloom and misery everywhere
Stormy weather
Just can't get
My poor old self together
I'm weary all the time
The time
So weary all the time

When she went away
The blues walked in and they met me
If she stays away
That old rocking chair's gonna get me
All I do is pray the Lord above
Will let me
Walk in the sun once more

Can't go on
Everything I have is gone
Stormy weather
Since my gal and I ain't together
Keeps raining all the time
Keeps raining all the time

No sé por que razón
No aparece el sol allá en el cielo
Tiempo tormentoso
Desde que mi chica y yo no estamos juntos
Sigue lloviendo todo el tiempo

La vida es desoladora
Melancolía y aflicción por todas partes
Tiempo tormentoso
No logro recobrar la calma
Dentro de mi mismo
Estoy aburrido todo el tiempo
El tiempo
Tan aburrido todo el tiempo

Cuando ella se fue
Vinieron las tristezas a buscarme
Si ella sigue lejos
Me va a atrapar esa vieja mecedora

CONTRACTION "AIN'T"

"Ain’t" was originally formed from a colloquial contraction of "am not" and is still commonly used in that sense. Even though it has been universally condemned as the classic “mistake” in English, everyone uses it occasionally, for instance, as part of a joking phrase.

But if you always use it -instead of the more "proper" contractions- you are sure to be considered as low class or uneducated. So, be careful and check below its different meanings:

I ain't misbehaving.  ►  am not
(No me estoy portando mal)

The new lesson ain't that difficult.  ►  is not
(La nueva lección no es tan complicada)

Times ain't like they used to be, my friend.  ►  are not
