The

the future's not ours to see: the future doesn't belong to us (el futuro no nos pertenece)
USE OF POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS
Possessive Adjectives are: MY, YOUR, HIS, HER, ITS, OUR, THEIR.
Possessive Pronouns are MINE, YOURS, HIS, HERS, ITS, OURS, THEIRS.
Notice the difference in use between Possessive Adjectives and
Possessive Pronouns in these examples:
This is my new car (Possessive Adjective). This new car is

to become an adult (crecer)
to fall in love: to begin to experience feelings of love towards (enamorarse)

what lies ahead?: what about our fate? (¿qué nos depara el destino?)
to have rainbows: to become happy (ser felices, literalmente "tener arcoiris")
day after day: every day, one day after the other (día tras día, un día tras otro)
I have children of my own = I have my own children(tengo mis propios hijos)
tenderly: with tenderness, in a tender manner (con ternura)
