John Lennon always considered Help! one of his favourite Beatles songs because it was one of the first ones to express his worries and his anxiety. Criticised for being written after several drug sessions, this song transformed itself into a world-renowned musical legend.

these days are gone = these days have already vanished (esos días se esfumaron, esa época

desapareció, ya se fue)

self-assured = self-confident (seguro de mí mismo)

to change one's mind = to change one's purpose / intention (cambiar de parecer)

I've opened up the doors = I became open-minded (me hice de mentalidad más abierta)

to open up: to talk freely and without inhibition (expresarse con total libertad, sin inhibiciones)

I'm feeling down = I'm feeling low in spirits (me siento deprimido)

I do appreciate: the auxiliar DO in affirmative statements is used for emphasis (uso enfático del DO)

being 'round = being around, being with me

insecure =/=  self-assured, self-confident (inseguro de sí mismo)
