them can be prevented or even predicted. Look carefully at the pictures
below and try to choose the correct disaster from the menus. Then
check the answers.

Match the following disaster definitions with the
disaster names choosing the appropriate alternatives from the menus. Then

ACTIVITY 216:
Generally speaking man-made disasters can be
prevented, and natural ones can be predicted to a greater or lesser
extent with modern technology. But in a man-made disaster, natural
causes may also have played a part, and in a natural disaster, man may
also have some responsibility for causing it.
In this activity you have to copy/paste or
